| We believe
the Bible:
Is God's divine,
inspired and inerrant revelation-both the Old
and
New Testaments-described as God's Word:
*
Sanctifies us in truth and will never pass away.
* Is the final authority for
all Christians regarding faith, daily
living and practice.
We believe
that the Godhead is:
Eternally existing
in three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit, united and identical in nature
* All powerful
* All knowing
* All present and never changing
* Perfect in love, truth, righteousness,
justice, goodness, grace and
mercy
We believe Jesus Christ:
* Is the Son of God, both fully God and fully
man (two natures in one)
as conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the
virgin Mary
* Performed miracles to manifest His deity,
lived a sinless life,
suffered and died as a completely satisfactory
sacrifice for the sin of the
whole world
* Arose from the dead on the third day and
has opened the way of
salvation for all men who believe in Him
* Ascended to the right hand of God the
Father where He reigns over
the universe and intercedes for believers
* Will return to earth to establish His
kingdom
We believe man:
* Was created in the image of God but fell
into disobedience by a
voluntary decision
* Was separated from God spiritually and will
physically die
* Is redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ
that was shed on the cross
* Is saved by faith through grace
* Is reborn of the Holy Spirit and enters
into a new spiritual life as
a child of God
We believe that the Holy Spirit:
* Indwells and seals every believer at the
moment of saving faith
* Is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and not
to draw attention to
Himself
* Convicts the world of sin
* Brings righteousness and judgment to guide,
direct, instruct and
empower the believer for godly living
* Enables all believers to understand the
Bible and grants power for
service
We believe that every believer should:
* Have a daily walk with the Lord as they
seek to become more like
Jesus
* Learn how to pray in God's will to be
conformed into the image of
Christ
* Apply God's principles (as directed in the
Bible) to their daily
lives
* Be in fellowship for the purpose of
accountability and service
* Be equipped to evangelize, disciple and
encourage those around them
